🧩 The Role

You’ll be both hands-on and strategic — designing robust GenAI Python-based solutions, leading architectural decisions, mentoring other engineers, and getting your hands dirty writing code.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect, build, and scale Python-based solutions using frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask
• Design secure, performant, and maintainable backend services and integrations
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on product and architecture decisions
• Drive best practices in software design, testing, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure
• Review code, mentor junior developers, and shape team-wide engineering standards

🧠 What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development, including modern web frameworks like FastAPI, Django or Flask.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, testing practices, and CI/CD workflows
• Strong focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in German and English

🌟 Bonus Points For

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and services like Azure Functions or App Services
• Exposure to LLM-based applications using OpenAI APIs (e.g., ChatCompletions or Responses API)
• Experience with RAG architectures (indexing data, cracking, chunking, semantic & vector search)
• Experience building tools or platforms for regulated or enterprise-grade environments
