Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Engineer to join our international team working on cutting-edge cloud-based projects. In this role, you will be responsible for defining solution architecture, providing architectural guidance to customers, and leading hands-on development alongside your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and define solution architecture for your projects.
• Provide architectural guidance to customers in selecting appropriate cloud services.
• Lead hands-on development and implementation with the rest of your engineering team.
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a .NET developer/technical lead.
• Comprehensive understanding of Azure Architecture best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure platform-as-a-service services (e.g., Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL, IoT Hub, Application Insights, Azure Functions).
• Strong knowledge of Visual Studio IDE.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies through documentation and hands-on experimentation.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with Git as source control.

Desirable Skills (these are optional):

• Professional level of German language.
• Proficiency in designing and building secure RESTful Web APIs using the .NET stack.
• Experience in planning and implementing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL).

Personal Qualities

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and customer stakeholders across borders and time zones.
• Experience in designing geographically-distributed, scalable systems.
• Knowledge of designing systems for multi-tenancy support.
• Communication skills to consult customers in large enterprises.
